why is it getting more difficult for me to become thankful?
why is it getting more difficult for me to realize popularity and all materialistic things aren’t what I want in life?
Why is it that I changed into someone I despise?
Why is it that I’m slowly becoming selfish? obnoxious? self-centered? competitive?

i hate seeing myself this way.
Please make me stop.
Make me stop acting this way.
Tell me I can still enjoy life, with only what I have and God.

WOAH!! yup, thats my yearbook! i don’t mean to show off~ but..lol jks~ i acutally just noticed that since our school’s students got their yearbook, and are handing it to every single perosn they know to sign it. I think that’s nice, but on my page actual…only 4 people signed it, 4 of my closest friends. They were the people who made close memories with me, and who we truly cared for. It was awkwared for me when other people asked me to sign their yearbook, when I’ve only met the once or twice (and the fact that we got it during thanks giving so i had to write “happy thanksgiving?”). Why not force your close friends to write essays like me?? lol, its important to have aquantances, but remember, though you may have X amount of names on your page, that this isn’t a popularity contest,  but a page in the yearbook to remind your of all the memories you made with the people that you care about.

My new found obsession, DEATH NOTE! its crazier that my obsession compared to Harry Potter, but i think i got myself hooked on this manga series. i first started with watching the live action movie, because manga usually wasn’t my “thing”. but now I’m trying to collect the whole series, and I’m just missing 3, 5, 6 & 9!!! i think I’ll force my dad to get them for me in HK, cause in Canada, taxes just messes up everything with trying to persuade my mom to buy more ;P

a summary of this series would be:

THE BEST * SERIES YOU WILL EVER ENCOUNTER IN YOUR WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE! …okay maybe not just this series but its honestly just sucked me into the whole Kira world thing. okay so the main character Light Yagami is a top ace students with good looks ahem, good grades, a happy family and a death note. This death note came into his possession one day after school and he took it into his own hands to test this book out according to the rules written inside. Light tested this power only on criminals that were not every well-known who appeared on the news, and he later uses this power to rid the “evil” by killing as many criminals around the world as possible. this leads to the public and police’s attention and also a top-notch detective known as “L”. This smart guy communicates to people of the world through a computer screen and is actual has a very childish personality like Light, “to Win”. Now the race is on to see who will be the first to be captured. Will Light kill L? Will L capture Light?

since chapter had this buy 3 get 1 book free sale, all the death notes were sold out =( except for 7 & 8 so i grabbed the opportunity to buy those meaning i had to skip ahead in the manga (good thing i watched the movie). very different, but you still get the overall idea. Despite of all the going back and forth and debating inside my head whether i should read it online or not (i perfer reading mangas printed on a book) in the meantime i beg my mom to let me finish buying he series, i read it…online….so far, L died cause Kira/Light is just that …smart (???can you put it that way) and now L’s heir (Near or Mello) is fighting too as well for this position by seeing who can first capture Kira. I think I’m going to go crazy trying to figure out their next moves!! If only I was as smart as them>.>…then i wouldn’t have to study as hard. But what i continue to debate while reading is if Light is good or bad? As a catholic, I would defiantly thing it was bad bad bad!! killing people and taking people’s life is never the answer to problems, and i think too, that if this continues, Light will be the only living person in this world. On the other hand, if the people live in fear and being respectful and nice to each other, it will become a habit, but at the same time thats a bad way to manipulate others. ARGG I CAN’T DECIDE!!!!!..but in the end…i think i have to admit defeat…Light’s intentions were good, but his actions were wrong. thats all i can come up with…

completely melted ~~ into a puddle of love now and i can’t stop replaying them singing with SG wannabe!! Gosh..have to save up money for new CDs again -.-;;

I’m so happy that Spain won euro!
and i consider that a “good” win too!
i thought that Germany didn’t play as good as they could, and their defense was weak
especially when it came to keeping control & ownership of the ball, but in my opinion i think they still tried their best and move forward and tried to score ( (so no bashing please Germany fans) ._.

At the same time, the goal was kinda lucky, BUT I’m really REALLY!! (no sarcasm) !! impressed with Germany’s goalie! Jen Lehman! He is an awesome goalkeeper, whether it was predicting where the ball would go , or with blocking! arh! he is THE best goalie~i think if it was a tie and they had to penalty kicks, Germany may have a chance to win with their awesome goalkeeper.

Torres, Villa, Xavi and Silva were all amazing in the game and the team played really good with quick and direct passes. They also had pretty good defense. Spain deserved to win.

now, i must say I’m REALLY not a huge soccer fan and it was the first time I’ve been so involved with watching soccer, so this is just me and my little personal opinions ^_^ it was a pretty intensed game, especially for me, and come on, we must say thanks to Torres, he scored the goal, but to me it was kinda luck, yet it was probably also his quick judgment and fast legs. Either way, CONGRATS SPAIN FOR THE EUROCUP!!! okay! now on to summer vacation!

OKAY! this summer, yeah yeah i know i said i was going to update yesterday, but my family and i like toured Toronto 0.o so yup~ back on topic, this summer I’ll be going to Volunteering!! YAAAAYYyyyyy… but it should still be fun, Im going to a summer camp for art and going to be an assistant counsellor. The reason why I’m doing this is a) i do have community hours to fulfill and b) my mom said i can get a job their next year -.- so thats why but i went their to volunteer for two days there for C.I.T and it wasn’t bad so hopefully this time, I’ll get a good review =D

Before volunteering though (not my shift yet right now) I’ll be heading towards NYC for four days, and yeah… I’ve been their with my sister before, but my parents insisted that we go again 0.0 and my sister doesn’t want to shop (surprise surprise) but my mom and I do, so me and my mom will just ditched them and hit the sales >_^

After that, ITS HK (Hong Kong) time!! WOOOOOTT how great is that?!?!?!?! i miss my family alot and im planning on some major shopping list when i go back. I’m sorry dad for cleaning out your waller and bank account but its hard to stop yourself when your in shopping heaven. for me, especially electronics! (new laptop? my desktop is going hay-wired and msn is NOT working ~.~
